| Promoting the Simply Giving® Program |

You can help make the Simply Giving® program a success in your congregation, school or institution by promoting the benefits—and the simplicity—of the program.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Vanco Services have compiled tips on promoting the program, along with sample letters, newsletter articles, bulletin inserts and other promotional materials that you may use as you wish. | Ways to Promote the Simply Giving® Program: |

1. Roll out the program to your congregation during stewardship week or month.
2. Host a Simply Giving® picnic, coffee hour or donut Sunday.
3. Have a Thrivent Financial representative talk about the benefits of the program.
4. Mail a Simply Giving® Member Enrollment and Authorization Form along with a letter from the pastor or stewardship committee inviting congregation members to participate in the program.
5. Promote the Simply Giving® program in church bulletins and newsletters.
6. Talk about stewardship during a sermon and tie Simply Giving® into how the program reinforces first-fruits giving.
7. Enroll the stewardship committee in the program—and have the committee share with congregation members their feelings about the importance of stewardship.
8. Challenge congregation members to increase their giving and offer the Simply Giving® program as a way to conveniently achieve their stewardship goals.
9. Include Simply Giving® enrollment forms in new member packets.
10. Create a pamphlet of comments from those already enrolled in the program.
